Industrial Painter and Blaster

Industrial Painter and Blaster wanted for blast and spray coatings work in the Richmond, VA area. This is steady, ongoing project work with Skillforce. When a job takes you out of town, your travel expenses are covered. You will run abrasive blast for surface prep and apply industrial coatings by airless spray. The work is on structural steel, tanks, and other industrial jobs. If you can blast, spray, or both, we want to hear from you.

Pay and Schedule

• $23 to $27 per hour, W-2, paid weekly

• Full-time schedule with overtime available

• Travel expenses covered on out-of-town work

Industrial Painter and Blaster Responsibilities

• Abrasive blasting and surface preparation

• Apply industrial coatings by airless spray

• Mix coatings and match them to project spec

• Mask, clean, etch, and profile steel surfaces

• Work on structural steel, tanks, and more

Industrial Painter and Blaster Qualifications

• Blast or spray experience, both preferred

• Able to hit mil-thickness and DFT targets

• Comfortable with local and out-of-town travel

• Must pass a drug screen and background check

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
