Pricing Specialist

Summary
The Pricing Specialist will work closely with other Pricing & Product Group members, operation departments, vendors, and branches with a focus on supporting cost and pricing changes and troubleshooting issues arising from them.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Generate data reports to assist in cost and price updates.
Maintain cost files and vendor contacts.
Research and track down costs from vendors.
Field questions from branches to help with cost, pricing, and margin issues.
Assist with product data maintenance and organization.
Produce Ad hoc pricing and product reports as needed.
Other duties as directed by the Pricing & Product Manager.

Required skills and experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel features and advanced formulas.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent technical experience.
Â
Preferred skills and experience.
Knowledge of exterior building products.
Familiarity with SX.e, SAP/Vistex, or similar ERP
Proven ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
The ability to establish and maintain effective branch and vendor relationships.
Ability to multitask/prioritize and work quickly and efficiently.
