Job DetailsJob Location: Richmond, MI 48062Position Type: Full Time Summary The Service Porter plays a vital role in supporting the Service Department by assisting technicians, staging work areas, and handling equipment drop-offs and pickups. This position requires flexibility, teamwork, and a willingness to help wherever needed across all departments to ensure a smooth customer and shop experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Stage and organize equipment for Service Technicians. Check in customer equipment, tag properly, and assist with loading/unloading. Clean and photograph equipment before and after service. Maintain clean, organized service bays, staging areas, and outdoor lot. Unload product shipments from delivery trucks using forklift. Assist technicians, service writers, and parts staff with tasks that do not require technical training. Support other departments when needed and perform general grounds maintenance as requested. Follow all safety guidelines and report any unsafe conditions. Must be able to lift/move up to 50 lbs. Manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination. Work Environment Primarily service shop and lot environment with moderate noise. Exposure to outdoor weather conditions when moving equipment. WORK SCHEDULE The position is full time requiring varying shifts Monday through Friday to cover business operations. Occasional extended days and or weekend hours may be required. May be required to work 45+ hours a week during the Spring and Summer peak season.
