Warehouse Manager

Job DetailsJob Location: Osborn Richmond - Richmond, IN 47374Position Type: Full TimeEssential Duties and Responsibilities Manage a team of production workers and support staff in day-to-day warehouse/shipping and receiving operations, including safety, quality, on-time order delivery, and continuous improvements Ensure all safety rules, regulations, and programs are followed by staff; audit and address all departmental safety hazards,  equipment and guarding malfunctions, and personal safety violations Monitor stock levels and shipment orders; enter inventory and shipment transactions into computerized systems and maintain inventory accuracy; respond to shipment/order inquiries Drive standardized work as applicable to assigned area Employ Lean and Six Sigma concepts and practices; conduct Kaizen events; drive 5S activities and visual management Train staff on new and existing work assignments, machinery, tools, and processes consistent with the organization’s quality systems and documented standard work Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on standard KPIs (on-time delivery, shipments inventory, headcount, etc.), payroll approvals, safety, and continuous improvement projects Other tasks as required QualificationsPosition Requirements Bachelor’s degree in logistics or related field strongly preferred, or a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a manufacturing environment; management experience preferred Strong emphasis on state and local safety regulations, safety compliance, and training Experience in leading Lean/Kaizen activities is strongly preferred Work experience in TPS/or similar environment a plus Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm and a sense of urgency Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a timely manner
