Job DetailsJob Location: The Jefferson Hotel - RICHMOND, VA 23220Position Type: Part TimeJob Shift: AnyThe Jefferson Hotel is seeking a professional and service-driven Part-Time Room Service Attendant to join our In-Room Dining team. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service to guest rooms while also supporting our traditional Afternoon Tea service as needed. We are looking for candidates must be flexible, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.   Key Requirements Availability: Must be available to work PM (2:00 PM – 1:00 AM) shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays Experience: Previous food service or hospitality experience required; in-room dining or fine dining preferred Professionalism: Polished appearance with strong guest service skills Communication: Clear and professional communication with guests and team members Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness, accuracy, and presentation   Duties & Responsibilities Deliver food and beverage orders to guest rooms promptly and professionally Set up trays and carts according to hotel presentation standards Communicate guest orders and special requests accurately with the kitchen Retrieve trays and carts in a timely and discreet manner Maintain cleanliness and organization of Room Service areas and pantries Respond to guest requests and concerns with professionalism and urgency Support Afternoon Tea service in various roles as needed, including assisting with setup, service, and guest experience Uphold service standards in all guest interactions   Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required At least 1 year of food service or hospitality experience preferred Ability to lift and carry trays or carts and stand for extended periods Strong time management and multitasking skills Reliable, team-oriented, and guest-focused   Traits of a Successful Candidate Attentive and polished in guest interactions Detail-oriented with a focus on presentation Flexible and adaptable across different service styles Team-oriented with a strong work ethic   Why Work Here At The Jefferson Hotel, In-Room Dining and Afternoon Tea are signature guest experiences.
