About The Opportunity
As a Machine Assistant, you will support the setup, operation, and maintenance of machinery used to produce corrugated products. This role ensures smooth production flow, quality output, and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key Duties and Responsibilities:Â
Assist with machine setup, adjustments, and operation of assigned machineÂ
Monitor production and inspect finished products for qualityÂ
Handle materials and move stock using carts, hand trucks, or forkliftsÂ
Perform basic preventative maintenance and keep work area clean and organizedÂ
Record production data and report issues promptlyÂ
Support team goals and follow all safety and quality guidelinesÂ
Participate in continuous improvement and lean initiativesÂ

Job Requirements:Â
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not requiredÂ
Manufacturing experience strongly preferred; corrugated industry is a plusÂ
Forklift experience preferred; not requiredÂ
Ability to lift 45 lbs.Â
Ability to stand/walk for 8-12 hoursÂ
Comfortable working in hot, noisy environmentsÂ
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtimeÂ
Mechanical aptitude and ability to read measurement
Hours: We are primarily looking for individuals to work a 12-hour, 2-2-3 schedule on nights or an 8-hour schedule on 2nd or 3rd shift.
