OBJECTIVE

Coordinate and support the daily work. Overview of the order/task situation, focusing on
containment and corrective actions during order/task execution time frame.

 

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Expectations & Responsibilities
:
• Review, plan, coordinate, and support the daily work of the department with a continuous focus on our
ALPS priorities – Sustainability, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. 
• Drive daily ALPS Performance Meetings and weekly Improvement Meetings in the department.
• Participate in projects and improvement initiatives.
• Participate in all aspects of the Problem Resolution Process to help determine the root causes of
problems and create sustainable solutions.
• Provide departmental training as needed.
• Develop and audit SOPs as required and drive continuous improvement to standard processes.
• Execute and follow up on the department production schedule.
• Perform final inspections (physical and documentation) on the department’s finished goods.

• Initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCR’s).
• Investigate claims and support resolution.
• Serve as liaison between the dept., support functions, and Team Manager.
• Ability to multi-task, self-manage, and prioritize to meet deadlines.
• Observe all company policies.

 

ORGANIZATIONAL COMPONENTS

• Reports to Team Manager.
• Working relationship with all entities involved in supplying the product like
the sales engineers, purchasing, suppliers, quality, manufacturing, shipping,
and receiving and Master Scheduling teams.
