Warehouse Operator

About the Role:

The Warehouse Operator plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of materials within a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting production schedules. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts (certification preferred).
• Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Forklift operator certification.
• Experience with warehouse management software (WMS).
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends or overtime as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and accurately document incoming materials and products.
• Organize and store inventory in designated locations to optimize space and accessibility.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to production and delivery schedules.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and data entry.
• Collaborate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely material availability.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and participate in ongoing safety training.
• Report any discrepancies, damages, or operational issues to supervisors promptly.
