The Senior Fabricator and Quality Control Inspector is an expert craftsman responsible for complex fabrication projects, advanced layouts, specialty forming operations, and technical leadership.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform complex layouts and geometric calculations.
  • Perform daily inspections of fabricated steel in our AISC certified facility
  • Operate advanced fabrication equipment.
  • Perform heat cambering, jacking, and specialty forming operations.
  • Design and construct fabrication jigs and fixtures.
  • Perform MIG, FCAW, SMAW, GTAW, SAW
  • Weld in all positions to AWS D1.1. D1.5 standards. (1G, 2G, 3G, 6G)
  • Perform advance torch and plasma cutting operations
  • Mentor fabricators and support process improvements.
  • Address and document non-conformances for Structural Steel (D1.1/D1.5).
  • Inspect fabricated material to ensure it meets the specifications outlined in the shop drawings. In addition to these responsibilities, you will play a key role in both in-process and final inspections, ensuring the dimensional layout and placement of parts meet our rigorous standards.

Successful candidates will have:

  • Expert-level fabrication experience.
  • Advanced blueprint interpretation and layout skills.
  • Proven ability to independently execute complex projects.
