RVNAhealth is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Private Duty team, delivering high-quality, personalized care to patients in their homes across Fairfield County.

This is a unique "concierge-style" nursing role focused on building meaningful relationships with stable, long-term patients-primarily elderly and geriatric populations. If you're an RN looking for flexibility and variety in your schedule, lower-acuity care, and the opportunity to build meaningful connections with your patients, we'd love to connect with you.

Position Highlights:

  • Full-Time, Monday–Friday (No Weekends)
  • Salaried position + mileage reimbursement
  • Manageable caseload
  • Longer, relationship-based visits 
  • Built-in documentation time during your day

Territory

  • Fairfield County, including Danbury, Ridgefield, Bethel, Norwalk, Stamford, Greenwich, and surrounding areas
  • Occasional coverage in Northern Fairfield / Lower Litchfield County, such as New Milford and Kent, as needed

What You'll Do

  • Provide direct, in-home nursing care to patients
  • Perform assessments and vital signs monitoring
  • Manage medications and ongoing care needs
  • Deliver maintenance wound care and wellness visits
  • IVs and blood draws (will train if needed)
  • Develop and update individualized care plans
  • Educate patients and families on health, safety, and prevention
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Training & Support

  • Structured onboarding program with shadowing 
  • Hands-on training with experienced nurses
  • Collaborative, supportive clinical team

Qualifications

  • Active Connecticut RN license (or compact license)
  • 1+ year of nursing experience (hospital/acute care preferred)
  • Home Health or Private Duty experience a plus
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; Ability to trave/drive throughout territory
  • Strong communication, documentation, and clinical skills

Compensation:
The pay range for this position is $48.00 to $50.00/hour and represents RVNAhealth's commitment to pay transparency and is a reasonable estimate of possible compensation for this role at the time of posting. The final salary for this role will be determined based on careful consideration of a variety of factors, such as the candidate's exact location, experience, and expertise related to the qualifications.
