Position Summary:

Responsible for providing lead support to the Slot Attendants and serve as liaison for Slot Supervisors. Responsible for promoting outstanding customer service, professionalism, safety, and security for an assigned area on the casino floor. Repair minor slot machine malfunctions. Oversee Slot Dispatch for all of Slot Operations in accordance with departmental and company policies.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Promotes superior guest service.

• Maintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilani.

• In accordance with departmental and company policies, generate and complete slot machine hand pays following internal controls.

• Safeguard against theft and ensure the security and integrity of all casino property. 

• Handle complaints and disputes. 

• Repair minor slot machine malfunctions. 

• Keep other departments informed of developments which affect their area. 

• Communicate operational deficiencies to technicians and technician supervisors.

• Handle customer complaints in accordance with established departmental and company policies and procedures.

• Adhere to department, company, and state gaming policies and procedures and IRS currency transaction reporting requirements. 

• Serve as a liaison to the Slot Supervisor as needed. 

• Performs other related duties as assigned. 

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).

• One year experience as a Slot Attendant in a high-volume, complex casino environment.

• Must possess excellent inter-personal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.

• Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds, use an “in-ear” communication device daily, and have the dexterity to service slot machines. 

• Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours.

• Must be able to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift.

• Must be willing to work in a smoking environment.

• Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.
