Position Summary:

Here at ilani we have a desire to provide selected enrolled Cowlitz Indian Tribal Members with a hands-on opportunity to explore career opportunities through our internship program. Learning about what career paths ilani has to offer is an exciting way to match interest and opportunity. In alignment with our core values of continuously developing dedicated and passionate team members, the internship program provides the potential for immediate or future placement.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Promotes superior guest service.
• Maintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilani.
• Develop internship learning objectives and measure progress with a mentor.
• Complete departmentally specific tasks.
• Assist with special projects.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Enrolled Cowlitz Indian Tribal Member
• High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD)
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with strong attention to detail
• Must have intermediate MS office skills
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures

DEPENDING UPON INTERNSHIP GOALS

• Must have varied availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet business needs in a 24/7 environment
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs
• Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time
• Must be willing to work in a smoking environment

(Length of the internship is determined by the applicant and agreed upon by ilani.
