Gateway Supply, a trusted leader in HVAC and plumbing supplies, is looking for a motivated HVAC Inside Sales team member to support customers, coordinate orders, and help deliver dependable service from request to delivery.

About the Role:

As part of our Inside Sales team, you will serve as a key point of contact for customers by responding to incoming requests, providing pricing and product availability, preparing quotations, entering orders, and helping coordinate purchases and deliveries. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced sales and service environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Field incoming customer requests: Respond promptly and professionally to customer calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries.
• Provide price and availability: Research products, confirm stock status, and communicate accurate pricing and lead times.
• Prepare quotations: Create clear, accurate quotes that meet customer needs and support timely purchasing decisions.
• Enter and manage orders: Accurately enter customer orders, review details, and follow up to help ensure orders are processed correctly.
• Facilitate purchases and deliveries: Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, vendors, and customers to support product availability and on-time delivery.
• Build customer relationships: Provide dependable service, communicate clearly, and help customers find the right solutions for their needs.

Requirements:

• Previous inside sales, customer service, wholesale distribution, HVAC, or related industry experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to listen, clarify needs, and provide accurate information to customers.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to enter orders accurately and manage multiple requests at once.
• Comfortable learning product information, pricing, inventory systems, and order processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with sales, purchasing, warehouse, vendors, and delivery teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with ERP or order entry systems is a plus.
