Gateway Supply, a trusted leader in HVAC and plumbing supplies, is looking for a driven and results-oriented HVAC Outside Sales Representative to support and increase our customer base of HVAC contractors in the Bluffton, SC area.
About the Role:
As part of our Outside Sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with HVAC contractors throughout the Bluffton, SC area. This is a customer-focused role that is ideal for someone who is organized and comfortable working in a fast-paced sales and service environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build customer relationships: Identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts through strong relationships and consistent customer engagement and follow-up.
• Understand customer needs: Use Gateway Supply’s full offering and vendor partnerships to meet customer needs and provide tailored solutions for project and business requirements.
• Facilitate purchases and deliveries: Coordinate with internal teams (inside sales, purchasing, and delivery) to support efficient order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
• Stay up to date: Stay current on product knowledge, market trends, and competitor activity to effectively position Gateway Supply as a market leader.
• Track sales performance: Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and performance metrics.

Requirements:
• Proven experience in outside sales in the HVAC industrial supply industry
• Strong knowledge of HVAC and mechanical systems is a plus
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational abilities
• Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
