Overview
The Services聽Engineer,聽PCRF聽support all aspects of the environment (hardware, OS, application) and provides system administration, operational support, problem resolution, hardware and software installations and upgrades as required.
Responsibilities
路 Provide Applications and system health and performance monitoring, including responding to position issues.
路 Document standards, operating and technical procedures for the system(s) and acts as technical resource to technical support group and Network Operation group to diagnose, remediate and correlate system problems.
路 Resolve problems, determine root cause, and delivery known solutions with a high level of satisfaction.
路 Perform additional duties as assigned

o REQUIRED
搂 Bachelor鈥檚 Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience required.
搂 At least 5 years of professional experience in a production supported Linux environment required.
搂 Experience in scripting, shell, Pearl, python or equivalent from an automation and monitoring standpoint required.
搂 At least 5 years of relevant work experience in IP or Wireless telecommunications required.
搂 High proficient with communications and data network protocols, parameters, and interfaces:S11,Gn,Gi,Gx,Gy, RX.
搂 Expert level knowledge of Policy and Control Charging Functions.
搂 In-depth working knowledge of network protocol analyzers such as Wireshark.
搂 Knowledge of Virtualized Platform/Cloud Native.
o聽PREFERRED
搂 Experience with 3GPP Policy control (PCEF,聽PCRF) and VMWare virtualization is preferred.
搂 In-depth understanding of LTE, IMS/VoLTE and their respective call flows, this includes Diameter and Radius is preferred.
搂 RedHat Linux experience is preferred.
