Summary of Position
The User Acceptance Tester (UAT) will proactively communicate and collaborate with operations staff, developers, and testing staff to analyze user stories and business, technical, and functional requirements.
Essential Job Requirements
- Coordinates testing efforts with internal business teams to get appropriate user scenarios for existing functionality
- Creates clear, concise detail-oriented application UAT test plans and scripts
- Coordinates testing efforts with business teams to obtain user scenarios for current functionality
- Executes UAT test plans, document results, report and track any issues to developers for resolution, review all resolved incidents/issues, confirm work is completed
- Investigates, triages, and resolves time-sensitive system issues reported by end users and other customers that require collaboration across business units
- Creates and maintains Release Notes, User Manuals, and Training material
- Provides positive communication and objective feedback to software development project team
- Develops and maintains business knowledgeÂ
- Validates successful implementation of system issues
- Regular and timely attendance

Required Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience is required
Required Experience
- Experience with software testing (writing test cases and detailed test scripts), and planning and executing test activities.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestRail, etc.)
- Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., LLMs) to accelerate test case generation, test data creation, defect analysis and summarization
- Experience balancing automation vs. manual testing based on risk, value, and efficiencyÂ
- Ability to report, prioritize, and track all defects to resolution
- Ability to identify opportunities to reduce manual testing effort through automation and AI-assisted workflows
- Familiarity with prompting techniques to generate precise, usable test outputs (not overly verbose or redundant)
