Sophisticated Hearing, a modern hearing healthcare clinic located in Ridgewood, NJ, is renowned for its personalized hearing solutions, including hearing aids. The practice has been serving the community for 20 years, offering the patients and their families patient-centered care.
As we continue to grow and expand, we are seeking an energetic, ambitious, and friendly Front Office Coordinator to join their team, adding additional support staff to meet the demands of their expanding practice.
The Front Office Coordinator role encompasses guest services, front desk management, office administration, insurance coordination, excellent telephone communication and patient education, all vital components in ensuring an exceptional patient experience.
Candidates must possess the ability to foster patients' confidence and loyalty while thriving in a fast-paced environment. They should demonstrate proficiency in managing and anticipating workload without compromising the quality of patient care.
What You Will Do:
Responsibilities include, though not limited to:
Patient Reception, Administration, and Scheduling:
Greeting and registering patients, updating records, and managing appointment scheduling.
Communication Management:
Answering calls and emails, providing information, and facilitating communication between patients and staff.
Insurance Coordination, Billing, and Financial Transactions:
Verifying insurance, processing claims, handling billing inquiries, and managing financial transactions.
Patient Records, Confidentiality, and Office Maintenance:
Maintaining patient records securely, preparing files, and ensuring office organization and cleanliness.
Patient Education, Referral Coordination, and Problem Resolution:
Providing basic information, distributing materials, coordinating referrals, and addressing patient concerns.
Training, Quality Assurance, and Operational Support:
Participating in training sessions and quality assurance activities and collaborating on operational improvements.
What You Will Need:
Previous experience in a retail, customer service or medical office is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Proficient computer skills and familiarity with office software (Microsoft Office a plus).
Open and eager to learn.
Upbeat, positive and friendly interaction with patients and staff.
High School Diploma or equivalent (some college coursework preferred).
