We are seeking a dedicated, professional, and self-motivated ID Program Specialist (level 1) looking to make a difference. This position involves administrative-level professional work focused on the review, analysis, evaluation, monitoring, and coordination of Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) offered through the Office of Developmental Programs (ODP). Responsibilities include offering technical assistance to contracted providers and agency staff, as well as contributing to program planning, development, and implementation. Work is performed under the guidance and supervision of the ID Program Specialist II (IDD Director) and in accordance with the Administrative Entity (AE) Operating Agreement with ODP. Full-Time – 35 hours/week Hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Hybrid position – 2 days/week in office - great for work/life balance! Option to choose five 7 hour days or four 8.75 hour days to reach 35 hours/week Occasional travel – up to 25% or less. Mileage reimbursement is available at the state set rate Salary range is $39,903 - $45,000 Responsibilities: Maintain Quality Management (QM) certification. Assist the IDD Director with developing, reviewing, and updating the QM Plan. Review and approve incident reports in the Enterprise Incident Management (EIM) system. Use data from EIM, HCSIS, and other monitoring activities to identify trends, strengths, and areas of concern/improvement and make recommendations to the IDD Director. Maintain Certified Investigator (CI) status and conduct investigations on behalf of the AE. Oversee and coordinate contracted investigations when required. Review and develop reports of AE CI activities and lead quarterly C/E peer review meetings with providers. Coordinate and lead quarterly Human Rights Committee (HRC) meetings, which involve reviews of Restrictive Behavior Plans, recurring incidents, reporting QM goals, and data reporting. Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for employment (employment lead). Conduct sampling duties and track Independent Monitoring for Quality (IM4Q) activities. Coordinate with the IM4Q contracted entity and the Supports Coordination Organizations (SCOs). Develop and distribute a quarterly newsletter. Assist with annual processes such as Quality Assurance & Improvement (QA&I), Provider Qualification (PQ), and provider orientation. Develop and update policies and procedures in alignment with ODP requirements. Provide training to the Supports Coordinator Organization on the new and revised policies and procedures. Monitor and oversee the process of Individual Support Plans (ISPs) development in HCSIS, including timelines, reporting requirements, approvals, budgets, and service utilization.
