Unarmed Security Officer

Excelsior Defense is looking for professional unarmed Security officer to protect our client's premises, assets, and personnel. The selected individual will maintain a high visibility presence in patrolling and securing the area of OHA Housing Authority. The goal is to detect, deter, observe and report. You will also access control into the property, doing rounds, scanning in different points throughout the property of OHA housing property.

The individual officer will work overnight from 9pm to 5am and needs to be prompt with patrolling the community to making sure everything is safe and secure. This post is a patrol around the property and to do writing report every hour, and scans through the property, ensure a safe environment with a professional and polite manner

Responsibilities:

• Control access onto property
• Conduct foot patrols of the property
• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
• Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
• Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
• Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes
• Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations
• Report Writing

Skills Required

• Proven work experience as a security officer or relevant position
• Valid D Security License (Needs to be active)
• Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
• Detailed report writing
• Integrity and professionalism
• Surveillance skills and detail orientation
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols

We do not require any experience as we are willing to train the right officer. We have 1 Full-time position available, Must be willing to work weekends and holiday's including overnight.
