Job DetailsJob Location: 7601 NITA PLACE NE - RIO RANCHO, NM 87144Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: 2 Year DegreeJob Shift: DayJob Category: ManufacturingDescription We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Production Coordinator to oversee the daily workflow and schedules on our manufacturing floor. In this role, you will act as the vital link between the production floor, purchasing, sales, engineering, and logistics teams. Your primary goal is to ensure that production operations are smooth, raw materials are available when needed, and finished products meet deadlines. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced machine shop environment.   Roles and responsibilities Facilitate production updates (including on-time status, early completions, and delays) across various departments, including Manufacturing, Engineering, Sales, and Purchasing. Conduct daily lead-time reviews, prioritize orders, and host scheduling meetings; investigate and review inventory shortages as necessary. Create and maintain daily production schedules. Update work orders in real time to accurately reflect current production scheduling. Collaborate with the engineering team to resolve Bill of Materials (BOM) discrepancies or concerns. Track and update production status within the ERP system. Liaise shop employees, providing timely feedback to support continuous improvement and performance goals Generate daily or weekly reports on output, scrap, yield, and machine downtime. Print all work orders, maintain job travelers, and verify proper documentation is kept up to date. Follow up with department leads to identify and eliminate manufacturing bottlenecks. Ensure raw materials are staged and ready for all upcoming jobs. All other duties as assigned by management   QualificationsQualifications, Skills and Education Requirements 2-4 years of experience working in manufacturing environment Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP software Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (excel, word, teams, etc.) Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with both shop-floor personnel and upper management Physical Requirements Able to lift 50+ pounds at times Ability to stand for long periods Pass the pre-employment drug screen and background check About Stainless Motors, Inc.
