Job Duties:
- Uses hand tools, power tools, precision measuring and testing instruments to repair and maintain, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications, machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Examples include motors, advanced hydraulic and pneumatic systems, welding, pumps, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment.
- Ensures new machines are prepared for operation following protocols and procedures.
- Performs regular technical testing to ensure their safety and efficiency.
- Collects data on machine operation and suggests actions to reduce machine downtime through the use of work orders in a CMMS.

- Performs work under general supervision.
- Manages moderately complex issues and problems.
- Refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.
- May provide leadership, coaching, and or mentoring to a subordinate group.
- Preferred accreditation from a technical school or an applicable skilled trades program and 2 to 4 years of experience.
- This position will have the pay and starting position decided by a placement test that will show where a technician falls within our pay or job structure.
- Each class is estimated to take 10-12 hours.
