This is a senior-level site leadership assignment intended for an established supervisor with a demonstrated history of successfully leading employees, maintaining strong client relationships, managing complex day-to-day operations, and holding teams accountable to high standards of performance.

The selected candidate will serve as the primary on-site security leader and a critical liaison between the client, Security Officers, and Securitas management.

This individual will be expected to take ownership of the security operation, anticipate and resolve problems, maintain consistent standards across the security team, and ensure that service expectations are executed without requiring continuous management oversight.

This position requires substantially more than security experience alone. Successful candidates must demonstrate mature leadership, operational ownership, sound judgment, employee-management experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to represent Securitas professionally with client leadership.

Primary Responsibilities
The Security Site Supervisor will:

      ●     Provide direct leadership, supervision, coaching, development, and accountability for assigned Security Officers.
      ●     Assume ownership of daily security operations and ensure consistent execution of Securitas and client expectations across all assigned shifts.
      ●     Serve as a primary operational point of contact for client representatives and maintain a professional, responsive, and solutions-oriented client relationship.
      ●     Establish clear performance expectations and hold employees accountable for attendance, punctuality, appearance, conduct, documentation, and job performance.
      ●     Identify employee performance concerns and address them promptly through coaching, documentation, escalation, and appropriate follow-up.
      ●     Conduct regular inspections of personnel, posts, equipment, reports, patrol activity, and overall service delivery.
      ●     Ensure compliance with post orders, access-control requirements, patrol procedures, emergency protocols, safety requirements, and other site-specific procedures.
      ●     Provide leadership during security incidents, emergencies, safety concerns, and unusual events.
      ●     Exercise independent judgment while recognizing circumstances requiring escalation to client or Securitas management.
      ●     Conduct preliminary investigations and fact-finding following incidents or operational concerns.
      ●     Ensure incident reports and other security documentation are timely, accurate, detailed, objective, and professionally written.
      ●     Review daily activity reports, incident reports, passdowns, patrol documentation, and other security records for quality and completeness.
      ●     Maintain operational continuity between shifts through effective communication, passdowns, and follow-up.
      ●     Ensure new employees receive appropriate onboarding, training, post instruction, and site-specific preparation.
      ●     Evaluate employee readiness and identify additional training or development needs.
      ●     Identify potential staffing or coverage concerns early and coordinate with Securitas management to minimize operational disruption.
      ●     Participate in client meetings, operational reviews, investigations, and performance discussions as required.
      ●     Identify recurring operational problems, determine contributing factors, and recommend sustainable corrective actions.
      ●     Partner with Securitas management to continuously improve employee performance, operational consistency, security effectiveness, and client satisfaction.
      ●     Maintain appropriate confidentiality and discretion regarding sensitive employee, client, and operational matters.
      ●     Perform additional supervisory and operational responsibilities as assigned.
Required Leadership Experience
Qualified candidates should possess:
      ●     A minimum of five years of progressively responsible leadership experience within security, military, law enforcement, manufacturing, distribution, logistics, warehouse operations, corporate operations, or another structured operational environment.
      ●     At least three years of direct supervisory or management experience with responsibility for employee performance, accountability, coaching, and operational execution.
      ●     Demonstrated experience directly supervising multiple employees and maintaining performance standards across a team.
      ●     Demonstrated experience addressing employee performance, attendance, conduct, and accountability concerns.
      ●     Experience working directly with clients, customers, facility leadership, senior management, or comparable stakeholders.
      ●     Experience independently managing operational problems and following issues through resolution.
      ●     Experience handling incidents, investigations, emergencies, or other situations requiring sound judgment and leadership.
      ●     Demonstrated ability to operate effectively without continuous management direction.
Equivalent combinations of significant military leadership, law-enforcement supervision, security management, or comparable operational leadership experience may be considered.
Preferred Experience
Highly competitive candidates will possess:
      ●     Five or more years of formal supervisory or management experience.
      ●     Previous Security Supervisor, Site Supervisor, Account Supervisor, Shift Manager, Operations Supervisor, or comparable leadership experience.
      ●     Experience supervising security operations within a manufacturing, distribution, industrial, logistics, warehouse, or corporate environment.
      ●     Experience overseeing operations involving multiple employees and/or multiple shifts.
      ●     Experience serving as the primary security liaison to client or facility leadership.
      ●     Experience conducting employee coaching, documented performance counseling, investigations, and corrective follow-up.
      ●     Experience developing, training, and evaluating employees.

Ability to take responsibility for an operation, identify problems proactively, develop solutions, and ensure appropriate follow-through.

Client Relationship Management

Ability to communicate confidently and professionally with client representatives and effectively respond to concerns without becoming defensive or requiring unnecessary escalation.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide clear direction, prepare professional documentation, and communicate effectively at multiple organizational levels.

Conflict Management

Ability to conduct difficult conversations, address employee disagreements, and manage challenging situations professionally and objectively.

Ability to represent Securitas professionally and establish credibility with employees, client leadership, visitors, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Performance Expectations

The successful candidate will be expected to:

      ●     Maintain a consistently professional and accountable security operation.
      ●     Develop a security team capable of performing effectively without constant supervision.
      ●     Address performance deficiencies promptly and appropriately.
      ●     Maintain strong communication with client and Securitas management.
      ●     Ensure incidents and operational concerns are properly documented, escalated, and followed through to resolution.
      ●     Maintain high standards for attendance, professionalism, documentation, and execution of assigned responsibilities.
      ●     Identify operational risks before they become client concerns.
      ●     Demonstrate consistent ownership rather than waiting for management direction.
      ●     Build credibility with both employees and client leadership.
      ●     Lead by example in reliability, professionalism, integrity, communication, and accountability.

Candidate Profile

This position is intended for an established leader — not an entry-level supervisor.

The ideal candidate has already demonstrated success managing employees and operations and is prepared to assume responsibility for an important client account.

The successful candidate should be comfortable walking into an established operation, assessing its strengths and opportunities, developing the security team, establishing accountability, and building a strong partnership with client leadership.

Candidates should be able to provide specific examples of leadership accomplishments, rather than relying solely on job titles or years of security experience.

Candidate Screening Requirements

Candidates advancing to interview should be prepared to discuss:

      ●     The largest team they have directly supervised.
      ●     The length and scope of their formal supervisory experience.
      ●     Specific examples of employees they have coached or held accountable.
      ●     A significant performance problem they personally resolved.
      ●     Their experience managing attendance and staffing challenges.
      ●     A difficult employee conversation they personally conducted.
      ●     Their experience communicating directly with clients or senior management.
      ●     A significant incident or emergency they personally led.
      ●     An operational problem they identified and corrected.
      ●     A situation where they had to make an independent leadership decision without immediate management direction.
      ●     How they establish accountability across multiple employees and shifts.
      ●     Examples of employees they have successfully developed or improved.

Candidates whose experience does not demonstrate the level of leadership, accountability, independent judgment, client interaction, and operational ownership required for this assignment may not advance in the hiring process.
