About the Role:
Bark & Mane of Severna Park and Glen Burnie is looking for a passionate and skilled Mobile Pet Groomer to join their growing team in the Arnold, MD area! This is a fantastic opportunity to do what you love — pampering pets — while enjoying the freedom and variety of a mobile grooming environment. If you're a pet lover who takes pride in your craft, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Perform full-service grooming on dogs and cats, including bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts, and finishing
- Operate and maintain a mobile grooming van, traveling to client locations throughout the service area
- Safely handle pets of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments with patience and care
- Communicate professionally with pet owners regarding grooming preferences, coat conditions, and pet behavior
- Perform nail trimming, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, and other hygiene services as requested
- Keep the mobile grooming unit clean, sanitized, and fully stocked between appointments
- Manage a daily appointment schedule efficiently to ensure timely service
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to safely handle and restrain animals of all sizes and temperaments
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently
- Knowledge of pet safety, skin/coat health, and grooming best practices is preferred
Schedule
- Part-time schedule (2 or 3 ten-hour days)
