Job Responsibilities:
- Review daily delivery schedules, walk the warehouse/yard, and pull materials, tools, and equipment for assigned jobs
- Perform pre-trip inspections of all power tools, materials, and equipment that will be delivered ensuring all materials are safe to use.
- Load and secure trucks using pallet jacks, forklifts, or manual handling while following proper safety procedures
- Operate box trucks to transport materials between warehouses, suppliers, job sites, and military bases throughout the Baltimore/Hanover/Washington area
- Navigate active construction sites (mud, debris, equipment, restricted access) and coordinate with site contacts upon arrival
- Unload and stage materials in designated areas, ensuring deliveries reach the correct crew — not just dropped off
- Communicate with foreman, site supervisors, and dispatch to prioritize and complete scheduled routes accurately.
- Perform general vehicle inspection and basic maintenance to ensure safe operation
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and site-specific requirements (including military base protocols)
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, pickups, and disposal activities
Preferred Skills, Abilities, and Qualifications:
- Meet Qualifications to get into our Company Auto Insurance.
- Must be able to pass background checks for military base access
- Must have a Real ID.
- Ability to navigate multiple job sites and routes daily
- Strong awareness of safety procedures in construction environments
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
Licenses:
- Regular Driver's License
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
