Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Track and manage inventory levels to ensure stock is properly stored and rotated. Perform regular stock counts and assist with cycle counts.
- Receiving & Stocking: Unload incoming shipments, verify products against shipping documents, and store items in their appropriate locations.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack products for shipment, ensuring that orders are completed accurately and on time.
- Shipping & Receiving: Prepare goods for shipment, including labeling, packing, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is complete.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment. Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, shipments, and receipts using warehouse management software or paper systems.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse staff, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 80 lbs).
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) may be required.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
