Connection and Serve Team Coordinator - Full Time

Job Summary

The Connection and Serve Team Coordinator supports the Director of Connection and Serve Team in daily ministry duties to maintain the consistency and overall growth of the Serve Team. This individual must be self-driven, team-oriented, and possess strong communication skills. They are responsible for the support of volunteer recruitment, placement, scheduling, and recognition. The Connection and Serve Team Coordinator will utilize online platforms to communicate with church members and reference online ministry reports that reflect church engagement. They serve with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promotes Harvest’s culture, mission, and values.

Essential Functions

• Assist the Director of Connection and Serve Team in day-to-day ministry duties to support the needs of the Serve Team.
• Provide assistance in maintaining an enthusiastic team of volunteers who understand their role on the Serve Team.
• Oversee planning, administration procedures, and execution phases of projects/events using online platforms such as Wrike, Planning Center, Outlook Teams, etc.
• Consult and collaborate with pastors and/or leaders to determine priorities and resource needs for projects and/or events.
• Act as a liaison between leadership and the Design/Communication Department to maintain church goals and needs.
• Ensure volunteers are checking-in at the kiosks prior to serving to maintain accurate reports.
• Oversee the scheduling of volunteers to meet ministry needs.
• Arrange and gather the Sunday morning Serve Team rallies prior to each service.
• Utilize online software platforms to communicate with ministry members and access online reports of church engagement.
• Assist with the planning of administrative procedures for events using online platforms such as Wrike, Planning Center, Outlook Teams, etc.
• Perform all other necessary duties as required.
• Physical requirements with or without accommodation include: long periods of sitting, standing, repetitive hand motions due to keyboard typing, answering phones, handling materials, looking at the computer screen for long periods of time.
• Duties are not exhaustive and are subject to change at any time.
• Must be 18 years old or older to apply.
• Salary Range: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour.
