As part of the team, the role involves conducting inspections, identifying hazards, and ensuring all workers follow established LME safety procedures. Conduct daily site inspections and safety audits. Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions daily. Enforce the use of PPE (e.g., Meters, Hard Hats etc.). Lead safety meetings, tailgate meetings, and training sessions. Investigate incidents, near-misses, prepare detailed reports, and implement corrective actions. Maintain federal, state, and locally required safety documentation, logs, and compliance records. Coordinate emergency response procedures and drills. Ensure subcontractors follow site safety rules. Heavy Equipment Compliance. Train crews on procedures that reduce accidents and injury. Coordinate with Superintendents on project planning to ensure safeguards and controls are in place. Qualifications High school education. Minimum of 10 years relevant construction experience. Experience leading a construction crew Leadership and strong collaboration skills. Decision Making.
