SUMMARY: The Senior Financial Analyst collaborates with various stakeholders at RMC. They are responsible for collecting, interpreting and analyzing statistical data to prepare comprehensive reports. Performs research and analyses in budgeting, financial trends, and produces forecast information as directed.

Qualifications
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited College or University in related field required. Master's degree from an accredited College or University in related field preferred. Five (5) years of experience in healthcare accounting/finance across an Integrated Delivery Network (Acute, Post-Acute, Ambulatory, and/or Health Plans) strongly preferred. Knowledge of EPSi cost accounting system for all types of analysis is preferred

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS: CPA or FHFMA a plus.

1. Develop a focused, consistent analytical approach for understanding and auditing revenue and cost results across an integrated delivery network, which includes the development of financial models.
2. Use decision support system and other platforms in conjunction with Excel, to abstract information for financial analysis, including service-line reporting, proforma and retrospective analysis, forecasting/trend analysis, profitability/cost analyses, financial projections, labor productivity reporting, departmental analysis.
3. Support and identify key margin improvement initiatives.
4. Departmental labor productivity analysis.
5. Participates with Month-end review processes.
6. Performs adhoc analysis as directed.
7. Coordinate with the CFO on reporting & various projects as needed.
8. Assists in the preparation of the budget schedules.
9. Assist in the review and analysis of the accuracy of budgets by entity.
10. Prepares budget variance analysis on general budget issues.
11. Demonstrates knowledge and ensures compliance with The Joint Commission and Title 22 standards and guidelines.
12. Always demonstrates compliance with healthcare policies and procedures.
13. Must have knowledge of PC and applications.
