Quality Control Supervisor

Food Manufacturing Quality Control Supervisor

Key Job Duties:

• Supervise and train QC Lab Technicians and QC Line Technicians on multiple production lines, performing food safety and quality inspections as needed, compliance control, and document review.
• Conduct verification and maintenance of the food safety and quality systems, hazard analysis and sanitation processes, prerequisite programs, manufacturing processes, plant environment and finished product.
• Collaborates with operations on the initiation of corrective action and preventative measures when necessary.
• Conduct routine and non-routine inspection/analysis of in-process materials, raw materials, manufacturing equipment, and finished goods.


Requirements

*** MUST HAVE FOOD MFG QC EXPERIENCE***

​• Strong knowledge of food safety related programs (HACCP, FSP, GMP, Allergens, SOPs, Pre-Op, prerequisite programs).
• Ability to adhere to standard laboratory protocols and test methods
• Advanced Microsoft Office Applications
• Familiar with sending “End of Shift” or other departmental communications
• Ability to train and guide others.
