2nd Shift Forklift Operator

Simon & Schuster is currently seeking a 2nd Shift Forklift Operator to join our Distribution Center in Riverside, NJ. This position will pick replenishment using a Turret or Drexel  among other duties. 

DUTIES:

• Responsible for completing picking cartons to complete the work for the day.
• Accurate carton picking and pallet picking.
• Complete all work assigned accurately.
• Use equipment RF to scan and locate product.
• Meet SOP standards for Simon & Schuster.
• Report any discrepancies.
• Drive in a safe manner.
• Will work replenishment picking when needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

• HS Diploma
• Must have prior forklift experience and able to drive either a Drexel or Turret.
• Ability to delegate workload for optimum performance and wave completion.
• Ability to meet commitments for end of business day.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of employees.
• Equipment Operator
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of WMS and LM
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to multi-task
• Flexible
• Ability to work OT as needed

Scheduled Work Hours:    Monday - Friday: 1:00 PM – 9:00 AM
