Area Supervisor

Responsible for safe and environmentally sound support to the continuous operations of the facility. The person in this position will manage and execute the daily operations schedule, appropriately delegating tasks to assigned team and holding accountable to achieve short-term, defined key performance indicators (KPIs). Communicate daily operational plan to the production supervisor, incorporating routine messages at the appropriate level. Manage and comply with established EHS MS programs, business unit initiatives, and other department administrative requirements. Possess department-specific understanding of process and equipment, articulate how a process works, and be able to teach and coach assigned team. Oversee department’s employee training program, ensuring adherence to currency requirements as identified in policies.

  • Manage and execute daily operations schedule.
  • Communicate daily operational plan.
  • Manage EHS MS programs and other administrative requirements.
  • Oversee department employee training.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Provide work direction to the team as well as timely and constructive feedback to ensure employees have a clear understanding of their work, roles, business goals and performance standards. Manage performance issues when necessary. Develop and coach employees in order to retain and grow organizational talent. Support employees in their career development at Mosaic.

What do you need for this role?

  • High School/GED is required. Bachelor's is preferred
  • In lieu of High School Diploma/GED and 5+ years’ experience, would consider bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of experience.
  • Related Experience 5+ Years
  • Microsoft Office Suite 1+ Years
  • Industrial Environment 1+ Years is preferred

  • Objective Interface Systems (OIS) 1+ Years
  • Maximo 1+ Years
  • Kronos 1+ Years
