Pharmacist -Operations

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Pharmacist to support daily pharmacy operations. This role focuses on order verification (PV1 and PV2), workflow oversight, technician support, and collaboration with customer service to ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant prescription processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform PV1 and PV2 verification of prescriptions in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Ensure prescription accuracy, clinical appropriateness, and regulatory compliance
• Support pharmacy technicians with workflow coordination and problem-solving
• Take incoming provider and patient calls as needed
• Collaborate with customer service to resolve order discrepancies and patient concerns
• Assist with prioritization of orders to maintain turnaround time expectations
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure inspection readiness
• Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, and teamwork

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist license in good standing
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high prescription volume
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to patient safety and regulatory compliance
