The Service TechnicianĀ is responsible forĀ performing service, repair, and maintenance work at job sites or customer locations. This role ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards while deliveringĀ a high levelĀ of customer service. Depending on the business unit, work may include building product installation and service such as doors, windows, or related components.Ā

What you'll do:
- Perform scheduled service, maintenance, and repair work based on work orders or service requestsĀ
- Diagnose issues and implementĀ appropriate solutionsĀ in the fieldĀ
- Complete service documentation accurately andĀ in a timely mannerĀ
- Communicate with customers and internal teamsĀ regardingĀ service status and findingsĀ
- Prepare and organize materials, tools, and equipment needed for service callsĀ
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality and safety standardsĀ
- Maintain service vehicles, tools, and equipment in good working conditionĀ
- Follow all safety policies and procedures and report any unsafe conditionsĀ
- Support scheduling and coordination of service activities as neededĀ
- PerformĀ additionalĀ duties asĀ requiredĀ

What you'll bring:
- Experience in service, maintenance, construction, or a related field preferredĀ
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsĀ
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectivelyĀ
- Good communicationĀ and customer service skillsĀ
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workĀ
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environmentĀ
- Familiarity with tools, equipment, and field service operationsĀ
- Experience with building products such as doors, windows, or similar systemsĀ
- Valid driverās license and clean driving recordĀ
- Experience working in customer-facing or field-based rolesĀ
- Ability to work in field, construction, warehouse, or outdoor environmentsĀ
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the dayĀ
- Ability to lift and move materials asĀ requiredĀ
- Ability to workĀ extended hours based on business needsĀ
- Ability toĀ travel between job sites and locationsĀ ifĀ requiredĀ
