Job Summary:
CPSFL is seeking a dynamic Accounting Manager for a full time position. The position serves as the accounting manager for the financial services department.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Level Accounting/Finance degree (master level degree a plus); or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years relevant hands-on experience in accounting, budgeting and grant compliance, nonprofit experience preferred
- Highly motivated, ethical, committed and hardworking
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and accounting software
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Track and allocate revenues/expenses across restricted and unrestricted funds.
- Prepare budget vs. actual reports for grant-funded projects.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly and year-end close procedures.
- Coordinate fiscal compliance as it relates to financial reporting for grants and contracts.
- Review full-cycle AP and AR functions by ensuring proper documentation and internal controls are maintained.
- Reconcile all Balance Sheet accounts and assist in generating core financial statements
- Compile financial documents and prepare necessary schedules to support finance and programmatic audits.
