IT DirectorÂ
LocationÂ
This is a 100% onsite position based at our corporate headquarters in Riviera Beach, FL. Candidates must be able to work onsite daily as this role requires close collaboration with executive leadership and hands-on management of the Company's IT environment.Â
TravelÂ
Occasional travel throughout Florida is required to support multiple company locations, technology initiatives, acquisitions, vendor relationships, and business operations.Â
SummaryÂ
The IT Director serves as the Company's senior technology leader and is responsible for the overall strategy, security, infrastructure, enterprise applications, data platforms, and day-to-day operation of the IT environment across multiple HVAC, plumbing, and home service brands.Â
This is a hands-on individual contributor role to start. The successful candidate will personally manage and execute all aspects of the IT function while partnering closely with executive leadership to support rapid growth, acquisitions, and operational excellence. This is not a role that delegates work—it requires someone who enjoys solving technical problems, implementing solutions, supporting users, managing vendors, and driving technology initiatives firsthand.Â

What You'll DoÂ
Technology StrategyÂ
- Develop and execute the Company's technology roadmap.Â
- Align IT initiatives with business objectives.Â
- Recommend technologies that improve efficiency, scalability, and security.Â
- Plan technology needs for acquisitions and future growth.Â
- Partner with executive leadership to evaluate emerging technologies, automation opportunities, and AI initiatives that support business growth.Â
Infrastructure & CloudÂ
- Manage Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, networking, servers, telecommunications, endpoints, and cloud infrastructure.Â
- Maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.Â
- Oversee hardware lifecycle management and software licensing.Â
- Design and maintain a scalable cloud data platform capable of supporting reporting, Power BI, automation, and future AI initiatives.Â
- Partner with the Data team to design, implement, and optimize AI-ready data structures and enterprise data architecture that support business intelligence, reporting, automation, and future artificial intelligence capabilities.Â
CybersecurityÂ
- Own the Company's cybersecurity program.Â
- Manage security policies, MFA, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, and incident response.Â
- Coordinate penetration testing, audits, cyber insurance, and compliance efforts.Â
- Promote cybersecurity awareness throughout the organization.Â
Enterprise ApplicationsÂ
- Administer core business systems including ServiceTitan, Microsoft 365, ERP, CRM, HRIS, accounting platforms, and business intelligence tools.Â
- Lead software implementations, upgrades, integrations, and user adoption.Â
- Identify opportunities for workflow automation and operational improvements.Â
Data Governance & AnalyticsÂ
- Establish and maintain Master Data Management (MDM) standards.Â
- Improve data quality, governance, reporting, and business intelligence capabilities.Â
- Develop and support enterprise Power BI reporting, dashboards, and analytics solutions.Â
- Collaborate with the Data team to establish scalable data models, governance standards, and AI-ready data structures.Â
- Build a scalable foundation for automation, dashboards, predictive analytics, and future AI initiatives.Â
IT OperationsÂ
- Provide day-to-day support for all company locations.Â
- Ensure reliable system performance and timely issue resolution.Â
- Maintain documentation, asset inventory, policies, and standard operating procedures.Â
- Manage vendor relationships, MSPs, telecommunications providers, and technology contracts.Â
LeadershipÂ
- Serve as the Company's primary technology advisor.Â
- Partner with executive leadership on technology investments and strategic initiatives.Â
- Build the internal IT department as the business continues to expand.Â

Required QualificationsÂ
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred.Â
- 8+ years of progressive IT experience, including technology leadership.Â
- Experience supporting multi-site organizations.Â
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, networking, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and enterprise infrastructure.Â
- Experience leading technology projects and managing vendors.Â
- Strong knowledge of business applications including ERP, CRM, HRIS, ServiceTitan (or similar field service platforms), and Microsoft 365.Â
- Experience with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, cloud data platforms, reporting, analytics, and enterprise business intelligence solutions.Â
- Experience partnering with business and data teams to support data governance, reporting, and AI initiatives.Â
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Â
- Ability to work independently while balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution.Â
Preferred QualificationsÂ
- Experience in HVAC, plumbing, construction, manufacturing, or field service industries.Â
- Microsoft Azure certifications.Â
- Cisco, Security+, CISSP, or ITIL certifications.Â
- Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions.Â
- Experience implementing Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, data warehouses, or enterprise analytics platforms.Â
- Experience designing data architectures that support AI, automation, and advanced reporting.Â
- Experience transitioning organizations from MSP-supported environments to internally managed IT.Â
Success in This RoleÂ
Within the first 12–24 months, the successful candidate will establish a stable, secure, and scalable IT environment while laying the foundation for future growth. This includes improving cybersecurity, modernizing infrastructure, strengthening data governance, enhancing Power BI reporting capabilities, partnering with the Data team to develop AI-ready data structures, optimizing enterprise applications, reducing reliance on external providers where appropriate, and building the processes, technology roadmap, and internal IT organization necessary to support continued expansionÂ
