Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Active Clearance in Riviera Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to site needs. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while working collaboratively with team members. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense billing operations location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials in accordance with site requirements; maintain accurate visitor and access-related records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, parking areas, entry points, and the business perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Prepare clear, timely activity and incident reports and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and designated site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of correcrtions, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Maintain an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• Possess a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree or 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
