Role: 

Responsible for performing duties which support the operational functions of the Credit Union.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

50% Performs general, routine custodial duties in a commercial setting, including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, cleaning windows, and sanitizing.

15% Empties trash receptacles, disposes trash into compactors and/or dumpsters, and bags trash for proper disposal.

10% Responsible for keeping paper supplies and soap stocked and restocking as needed. 

10% Performs other duties as assigned.

10% Inspects the building exterior, parking lot and landscape for tidiness. Removes debris as necessary.

5% Reports and submits tickets for maintenance concerns.

Performance Measurements:

1. Must comply with government and other regulations affecting the credit union industry including, but not limited to, OFAC and the Bank Secrecy Act.

Meets or exceeds performance expectations as described in Essential Functions and Responsibilities.

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience: One month to twelve months of similar or related experience

Education: A high school education or GED

Interpersonal Skills: Work involves contact with persons beyond immediate associates regarding routine matters for the purpose of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion. Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (members or vendors), requiring ordinary courtesy in providing assistance and information.

Other Skills: Must have valid driver's license and be able to operate a motor vehicle and travel independently. Position requires frequent driving of a company vehicle.

Physical Requirements: Depending on the assignment, may require ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; or the ability to stand, walk and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10 - 50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, bending, stooping, climbing, and visual acuity to operate equipment and read technical information.

Work Environment: Work is performed indoors in an office environment with normal potential for exposure to safety and health hazards. May periodically travel to other, similar sites. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
