General Role Description
Provide Technical Advisory Services (TAS) to coordinate installation and commissioning activities for assigned projects that meet project schedules and performance criteria.

Role Accountabilities
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Commission AC and DC drive systems and/or control software to meet design performance criteria
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Perform tune up of closed loop regulators to ensure optimal equipment performance and meet design parameters
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Troubleshoot and correct performance problems in complex control systems
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Design, configure, and test system software and hardware to meet contractual requirements of assigned scope
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Gather pertinent information from authorized sources to assess project requirements as related to assigned scope of work
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Provide regular, accurate, and considered commissioning status reports to parties deemed appropriate to the situation
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Lead respective process component of client witness system acceptance test of assigned scope
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Recommend changes to commissioning procedures to improve system performance
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Recommend software or hardware improvements to business unit engineering team
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Maintain current safety qualifications appropriate to the assigned tasks and adhere to both Company and client safety requirements
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Train client personnel on system maintenance procedures and/or system operation to ensure optimum performance and minimum downtime
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Plan and execute special projects to support the business unit when assigned

- 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Bachelor鈥檚 degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering with control automation coursework, mechatronics, computer engineering or related field or equivalent via education and/or work experience
- 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Classes, labs, and projects with concentration in some combination of electrical power systems, control system theory, supervisory software development, data base design/management, software engineering, robotics, or mechatronics
- 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Personal computer hardware and software skill proficiency
- 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Co-op, internship or other work experience
- 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Demonstrated problem solving skills
- 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Demonstrated successful working relationships with others, specifically clients, suppliers, and other internal and external contacts if previous employment experience
- 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Demonstrated successful working relationships with clients, suppliers, and other internal and external contacts
- 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Demonstrated successful and positive personal leadership, interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and communication skills
- 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Demonstrated continuous improvement in areas of responsibility
- 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Proficiency in MS Office
- 路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Availability to travel, domestically and internationally, up to 75%, sometimes with limited notice
Preferred Qualifications
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 MSEE, or MSME with control automation coursework
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Research project or thesis in the areas of electrical power systems, control system theory, software engineering, robotics, mechatronics, or AC/DC motor drives
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Work experience as research assistant, intern, or co-op in the above areas
Hiring Range: $63,700 - $95,500
