About the Role:
The Center Director is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and operational success of the center, ensuring it meets its strategic goals and delivers exceptional services to its community. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and fostering a positive and productive environment that supports both employees and families. The Center Director will implement policies, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Ultimately, the Center Director plays a critical role in driving growth, enhancing service quality, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all the families we service.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in a leadership or management role, preferably within a community center, nonprofit, or similar environment.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, staff, and operations effectively.
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices related to center management and community services.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Business Administration, Social Services, Education, ECE, or a related field.
- Experience working with diverse populations and community outreach programs.
- Familiarity with grant writing and fundraising strategies.
- Proficiency with data management and reporting software.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all aspects of center operations, including staffing, budgeting, and program development.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate center staff to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Implement policies and procedures that promote operational efficiency and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, employees, and clients to enhance the center’s visibility and impact.
- Monitor program effectiveness and client satisfaction, using data to inform continuous improvement efforts.
- Oversee facility management to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors.
- Prepare and manage the center’s budget, ensuring financial sustainability and responsible resource allocation.
- Represent the center at community events, meetings, and in communications with external organizations.
