Senior BPM Developer

The Role

Fidelity Investments is looking for Principal BPM Developers that can work across multiple Fidelity business units to automate, digitize, and transform their operational environments.  This position is a hands-on technical leadership role that that will utilize software design and engineering skills to architect and build robust, scalable, and efficient solutions for our business partners.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Proficiency in Java, Groovy, JavaScript, REST APIs, and HTML
  • Experience with Camunda BPM or other BPM development platforms
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipeline tools and best practices
  • Familiarity with data visualization, reporting, and dashboarding tools
  • Experience with AWS or other cloud service providers
  • Business process improvement or re‑engineering experience
  • Ability to collaborate and liaise with both business and technical teams
  • Technical leadership capabilities, including mentoring team members
  • Financial services experience in an operations or technology role (plus)
  • Ownership of technical solution delivery from concept through execution
  • Ability to analyze business problems and propose effective technical solutions
  • Strong communication skills with peers, leaders, and stakeholders
  • Willingness to contribute ideas and perspectives to discussions
  • Initiative-driven approach to solving problems and achieving outcomes
  • Eagerness to learn new tools, technologies, and products
  • Ability to thrive in collaborative, fast-paced environments
  • Skilled at facilitating process design sessions and documenting workflows
  • Ability to translate business requirements into secure, high-quality solutions
  • Experience architecting and developing scalable, maintainable BPM implementations

The Team

As part of the Advanced Process Solutions (APS) division within Fidelity Investments, you will join an agile team of 6-8 skilled and hardworking individuals tasked with re-imagining the customer experience and associate workflow for Fidelity. The team will be focused on up-front design, development and implementation of innovative solutions that significantly improve operational efficiency and enable an exceptional digital experience for Fidelity business and end users.
