Senior Program Manager (Project/Program Manager IT 4)

Location: Chicago, IL

Work Arrangement:
Currently remote with occasional onsite attendance. Candidates should be prepared for the role to transition to five days per week onsite in the Chicago office based on business needs.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead strategic software development programs, drive operational excellence, and deliver enterprise-scale initiatives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead large-scale software development programs through the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Drive program planning, execution, tracking, governance, and successful delivery of strategic software initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain project roadmaps, schedules, communication plans, and governance processes.
  • Manage project risks, dependencies, issues, resource planning, and delivery milestones.
  • Build scalable operational processes that improve execution and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Platform, UX Design, and Research teams to ensure successful program delivery.
  • Influence stakeholders and cross-functional teams without direct reporting authority.
  • Facilitate decision-making, remove delivery roadblocks, and provide executive-level status reporting.
  • Thrive in ambiguous environments while maintaining strong execution and delivery focus.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 8+ years of Program or Project Management experience.
  • Minimum 6 years leading large-scale Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) programs.
  • Proven experience delivering enterprise software development programs from initiation through production.
