Preventative Maintenance Technician

Work Hours: Second Shift; weekdays (4:00 pm - 12:00 am)
Job Summary: TD&I Â is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Lube Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for ensuring that all equipment and vehicles are properly maintained and ready for use. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently after-hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform oil and filter changes on trucks and equipment
- Check and maintain fluid levels
- Fueling Equipment and Vehicles: Ensure all equipment and vehicles are filled with the appropriate fuel.
- Greasing Equipment: Regularly grease all necessary parts of the equipment to ensure smooth operation.
- Watering Tanks: Ensure water systems are filled and ready for use. (Seasonal weather may require draining and winterizing systems to prevent damage.)
- Vehicle Inspection: Thoroughly examine vehicle/equipment for any light outages, low tires, or low fluids.
- General Maintenance: Â Perform routine maintenance tasks as required to keep equipment in optimal condition.
- Maintenance Tracking: Keep detailed records of maintenance performed and note necessary findings to mechanics.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
 Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in vehicle and equipment maintenance, lube service, or automotive repair, and experience working on diesel trucks, trailers, and construction equipment.
- Skills: Basic mechanical skills and knowledge of equipment maintenance procedures.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
- Driver’s License: Must hold a valid driver’s license with minimal traffic violations.
- Availability: Must be available to work from 4:00 pm to 12:00 am, weekdays.
- Must be 18 years of age or older
