This position ensures a reliable, cost-effective, and compliant supply network that supports the company’s engineering, manufacturing, and service operations. The role requires strong strategic and operational expertise in global procurement and logistics, along with the ability to build relationships and collaborate across functions and regions. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement a global supply chain strategy that aligns with company goals and operational priorities. Identify, evaluate, and approve suppliers worldwide to achieve performance, quality, and cost objectives. Negotiate supplier agreements and long-term contracts to support business continuity and risk management. Thorough understanding of international logistics, including freight management, customs processes, and trade compliance. Collaborate with project management, engineering, manufacturing, and customer care teams to align sourcing and logistics activities with business needs. Analyze supply chain performance, cost, and risk to identify and implement improvement opportunities. Monitor global market trends, material availability, and regulatory developments affecting sourcing and logistics. Lead initiatives focused on supplier performance, cost control, and sustainability. Serve as the primary point of contact for contractual agreements with key suppliers and logistics partners. Assist the team in determining inventory levels and stock strategies QualificationsQualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. Candidates without a degree may be considered based on substantial, directly related experience. 10+ years of experience in global supply chain, sourcing, or logistics management, ideally in a manufacturing or capital equipment environment. Proven ability to develop and manage international supplier networks. Strong understanding of import/export operations, trade compliance, and logistics management. Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365, and strong data analysis and reporting skills to support strategic decision-making. Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills. Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and international markets. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed. Preferred Skills Experience in engineered-to-order or industrial equipment manufacturing.
