$17.51 - $23.64The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Responsibilities:
GENERAL PURPOSE:Duties includes distributing medical devices and supplies used in patient care and scrubbing into surgery and performing scrub tech role duties while adhering to principles of asepsis and infection control. Knowledgeable of the equipment and supplies used in an operating room, as well as sterilized and packaged instruments used during surgery. Assists the clinical staff by performing professional and non-professional services in caring for the patient.
Per Diem position, D/E/N, some weekend and holiday shifts per unit requirements
Provides technical knowledge in preparing instruments, equipment and supplies for surgical procedures and assisting in sterile supply department. Good organizational skills a must. Qualified applicants must be enrolled in a Surgical Technician program and have completed two semesters. This employment opportunity offers students the chance to work in an assistive role.
