As aĀ Senior DesignerĀ at Lippincott, you will work with teammates to help develop thoughtful, beautiful design solutions.Ā You will design innovative, integrated solutions across a range of static,Ā dynamicĀ and interactive media (print, digital, 3D,Ā motionĀ andĀ environmental).Ā Ā You will be both conceptually and idea driven, focused on forgingĀ meaningfulĀ connectionsĀ with consumers and businesses across a broad range ofĀ media.Ā YourĀ team will look to you to combine fresh thinking with practical knowledge to make our work even stronger. DesignĀ Creatively and StrategicallyĀ
Develop preliminary concepts into refined, comprehensive design solutionsĀ Ā
Work closely with project teams, execute clearly defined projectĀ tasksĀ and meet design goalsĀ Ā
AssistĀ in developing detailed design andĀ brandingĀ guidelinesĀ
Ā
ResearchĀ and Build IdeasĀ
AssistĀ in conducting communications audits, including design research andĀ moodboardĀ creationĀ
StayĀ up-to-dateĀ on trends and new techniques in the design world,Ā as well as best practices in user experience and interface design,Ā and be ready to share those findings with the teamĀ
Help develop case studies and public reference, including the gathering of materialsĀ
Ā
ManageĀ Time andĀ ProjectsĀ Ā
Prioritize tasksĀ to meet deadlines across multiple projects,Ā notifyĀ senior colleagues of scheduling conflicts early onĀ
With guidance, work within budget and time constraintsĀ

5+ years of graphic design experience in a professional settingĀ or relevantĀ graduate degreeĀ
An understanding ofĀ howĀ to apply basic design principles to creative workĀ across a range of experiences (print, digital, 3D,Ā motion andĀ environmental)Ā
With guidance, the ability to incorporate inputsĀ fromĀ strategy,Ā researchĀ andĀ other disciplinesĀ intoĀ design developmentĀ Ā

BeĀ SkilledĀ
The ability to design consistently across a range of static,Ā dynamic,Ā and interactive media (social,Ā digital andĀ web, three-dimensional, environmental, etc.)Ā
Experience with Adobe Suite, FigmaĀ and MS Office; a working knowledge ofĀ digitalĀ prototyping andĀ UXĀ wire framing is a plus; a working knowledge of motion or film editing software is also a plusĀ
The ability to work independently in the face of complex assignments and seek clarity when necessaryĀ
The ability to think creatively while building on andĀ relating work toĀ past experienceĀ
With a basic understanding of color management and media requirements, the ability to prepare production-ready assets andĀ toĀ package files for distributionāÆand digital implementationĀ

The applicable base pay for this role is $85K - $110K.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position will be eligible for performance-based incentives.
