Job Description Summary

The Program

Par Health offers an 11-week internship program designed to provide an immersive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. As a Par Health Intern, you’ll have the chance to contribute to meaningful projects that align with your field of study. This program allows you to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world corporate setting while building valuable connections through networking opportunities across the organization.

Summary of Position

The Facilities Engineering Summer Intern will support facility, utility, and capital project activities within a manufacturing environment. This role provides hands-on exposure to facility startup, shutdown planning, construction risk assessment, and project execution. The intern will work closely with Facilities, Engineering, and Project Management teams, with a strong emphasis on AutoCAD drawing creation and maintenance.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Participate in risk assessments related to demolition, construction, and facility modifications, including identification of safety, operational, and compliance risks.
  • Support the development and coordination of schedules for facility and utility projects during a planned manufacturing shutdown.
  • Create, update, and maintain AutoCAD drawings, including layouts, utility drawings, and as-built documentation, ensuring accuracy and alignment with field conditions.

Minimum Requirements

Enrolled in bachelor’s degree program

  • Experience with MS Office, AutoCAD, etc.
  • Motivated self-starter, operates independently, etc.
  • Strong communication skills, etc. 

Relationship with Others/Scope of Position

Interact with other team members and cross functionally as needed
