We are currently hiring an Architectural Designer in our Architectural division at our Rochester, NY office.
The Architectural Division at LaBella provides comprehensive planning and design services for a wide variety of markets, including Municipal, State, Federal, Healthcare, K-12 and Higher Education, Residential, and Commercial projects.
The overall expectations of this position are to be capable of developing construction drawings and specification for issuance to the project manager/project architect for review. The Project Designer must be motivated and capable of performing all duties with minimal guidance. The Project Designer must be capable of performing construction administration and understand the applicable building code to implement into the design.
A successful candidate will be self-motivated with the willingness to learn, train, and continue building their architectural knowledge. Possess excellent collaboration skills and contribute to a positive work environment. The candidate will be trustworthy and punctual and possess leadership and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
- 3 to 10 years of years of work experience in architectural design
- Knowledge and understanding of New York State building codes
- Well-developed project design and planning skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent graphic presentation skills
- Revit BIM Modeling experience
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project)
Salary Range: $56,000 - $83,100 per year
The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
