Associate Attorney – Family Law, Estate Planning & Probate
Rochester Hills, Michigan

We are seeking a capable, motivated Associate Attorney (1–3 years experience) to join our growing practice focused on divorce, estate planning, and probate.

This role is ideal for an attorney who wants to practice law—not just assist—with meaningful responsibility, direct client interaction, and the opportunity to grow into a confident, well‑rounded practitioner.

This Role Is a Strong Fit If You:

  • Are comfortable managing files independently
  • Want hands‑on responsibility (not just research or drafting)
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and opposing counsel
  • Take pride in preparation, organization, and follow‑through
  • Want to build long‑term skills in family law and estate work
If you’re looking for a position where your work matters and your judgment is trusted, this may be the right fit.

What You’ll Do:

  • Handle divorce and family law matters from intake through resolution
  • Draft and execute estate planning documents (wills, trusts, powers of attorney)
  • Manage probate and trust administration matters
  • Appear in court and mediation, communicate directly with clients, and move cases forward
  • Work closely with experienced attorneys and support staff to ensure efficient case progression
You will not be micromanaged—but you will be supported and expected to take ownership of your cases.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Licensed Michigan attorney in good standing
  • 1–3 years of hands‑on legal experience (family law, probate, or estate planning preferred)
  • Comfortable handling client matters with minimal supervision
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized, reliable, and professional
  • Interested in long‑term growth with a stable firm
What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • Performance‑based bonus opportunities
  • Supportive, team‑oriented culture
  • Meaningful client work (not churn‑and‑burn)
  • Opportunity to expand skills across multiple practice areas
Compensation:
$75,000 – $95,000, commensurate with experience
Bonus potential based on performance and productivity
