We are currently hiring a full-time clinical audiologist position. An audiologist provides services for the prevention, identification, diagnosis, consultation, and rehabilitation to patients with hearing and balance disorders. Audiologists at Mayo Clinic work in a variety of specialties within the scope of practice, all within a leading tertiary medical center environment

This position will focus approximately 20 hours per week (0.5 FTE) on providing high-quality cochlear implant services. These include conducting candidacy evaluations, performing initial CI activations, and managing ongoing CI programming for a diverse caseload, working to optimize auditory performance and patient satisfaction. The audiologist will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, including otolaryngologists, speech-language pathologists, social workers, and educators.

This position also includes approximately 20 hours per week (0.5 FTE) as part of our pediatric diagnostics team. The audiologist will be responsible for conducting a full range of pediatric audiological assessments, including behavioral audiometry (VRA, CPA), otoacoustic emissions, and auditory brainstem response testing, as well as providing counseling and recommendations to families. The pediatrics team works together to interpret complex audiological data to accurately diagnose hearing loss, and they collaborate with pediatricians, otolaryngologists, neurologists, geneticists, and other specialists to provide holistic patient care.

The successful candidate will work as part of a team of talented audiologists providing excellent care for a complex caseload of cochlear implant recipients and evaluating and managing diverse pediatric populations.
