Job Description
Position Overview: The purpose of this position is to transport and deliver bulk and package DEF and bulk package lubricant products to customers by applying knowledge of products, commercial driving regulations and roads in the area. Responsible for the efficient delivery of DEF and lubricants throughout an assigned territory, maintain warehouse inventory and providing a premium level of customer service.Â

Duties and Responsibilities:Â
 Include but are not limited toÂ
Provide timely, efficient and safe delivery of products to customersÂ
Communicate with customers about DEF and bulk lube productsÂ
Build and maintain relationships with customersÂ
Collaborate with team to build unity and help accomplish company goalsÂ
Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures, and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations for the safe operation of a commercial motor vehicleÂ
Maneuver fuel hoses in, around and through all types of equipment, as requiredÂ
Provide support to other Energy positionsÂ
Assist with updating inventory and keep warehouse in order Â
Load and unload customers using a forkliftÂ
Pick up products from local vendors Â
Skills and Qualifications:Â
Must possess a valid commercial class A or B driver’s license
Must have tanker endorsement and have or able to quickly get hazmat endorsement
Must have no less than two years previous commercial driving experienceÂ
Basic computer skills, and the ability to utilize technology to enhance job performanceÂ
Must have the ability to read, write and perform simple mathematical calculations, with the ability to handle receipts, read maps, road signs, maintain record of duty status, etcÂ
Must have working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systemsÂ
Must have knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, inspection, and maintenanceÂ
Ability to safety operate a forkliftÂ
Must meet or exceed the medical standards of the US Department of TransportationÂ
Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisionsÂ
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in person, on the phone, electronically, or through other means to individuals and groupsÂ
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work extended hours and possible weekends during peak seasons within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasmÂ
Familiar with Microsoft Office productsÂ

Physical Requirements:Â
Must be able to sit and remain alert while driving for an extended periodÂ
Must be able to enter and exit the truck cab frequently, including climbing laddersÂ
Must be able to spend at least 50% of the day standing, 50% of the day walking on surfaces such as bare ground, gravel, concrete, wood, and metalÂ
Must be able to maneuver fuel hoses in, around and through all types of equipment and environments as requiredÂ
May spend up to 50% of the time out of doors exposed to potentially difficult environmental conditionsÂ
Ability to lift up to 50 lbsÂ
May be subject to irregular work schedules, temperature, weather and outside environment extremes, long trips, short notice for assignments, tight delivery schedules, delays in route and other stresses and fatigues related to driving commercial motor vehicles on crowded streets and highways in all kinds of weatherÂ
